TripWise - Tour Package Booking System

Tour package booking system PHP project - TripWise is a web portal where verified tour operators publish tour packages with a day-wise itinerary and fixed departure dates, and travellers book seats for their whole group online. Every package shows price per adult and child, inclusions, reviews and the live number of seats left on each date. Built in core PHP 8 and MySQL with Bootstrap 5, it is simple to understand and ready for BCA / BSc final year submission.

How it works

• Tour operator registers; the admin verifies the company and approves the account
• Operator adds a package with prices, inclusions and a day-wise plan; the admin approves it
• Operator adds departure dates with a seat limit (5-60 seats)
• Traveller picks a date and enters the name, age and gender of every person - seats are reserved at once with a database row lock, so a date can never be over-booked
• Traveller pays with Razorpay (test mode) or Simulate Payment (demo mode) and gets a printable receipt
• Operator confirms the booking with a pickup note; the traveller downloads the itinerary PDF with real dates and a QR code
• After the trip the operator marks it completed and the traveller rates it; cancellation releases seats and the admin marks the refund

Does it need internet? No. Everything works offline in demo payment mode; internet is needed only for Razorpay test payments. Is Razorpay real payment? No, it uses Razorpay test mode - no real money is charged. Can three students share it? Yes. The README and explanation give a clear part for each of the 3 students and a plan for 3 demos. Which software is needed? XAMPP (Apache, MySQL, PHP 8) and any browser.
