About this project

DriveFleet – Self Drive Car Rental System PHP Project is a complete web application for renting self-drive cars. Customers compare sedans, SUVs and electric cars, check whether a car is free for their pickup and drop time, book it and pay rent plus refundable deposit online. Car owners join as fleet hosts, list their cars and handle handover and return of every trip, while the admin controls the whole platform.

How it works

  • Customer searches the fleet by city, category, fuel, gearbox and seats
  • Live date check tells if the car is free for the chosen pickup and drop time
  • Booking is saved as pending; overlapping bookings of the same car are refused on the server
  • Customer pays rent + deposit (Razorpay test mode or offline Demo mode) and gets a printable receipt
  • Host hands over the car (Ongoing) and closes the trip when it returns (Completed)
  • Admin watches revenue charts, manages rentals, refunds, users and settings
