PawHome - Pet Adoption System with Shelter Panel

PawHome is a pet adoption system PHP project built with PHP 8, MySQL and Bootstrap 5. Verified animal shelters list rescued pets with health details and an adoption fee, and families search, save and apply to adopt them online. Every step of the adoption - review, meet & greet, approval, fee and handover - is recorded and shown to the adopter, the shelter and the admin.

How it works

• Shelter registers, is verified by the admin and lists pets with photo, health flags and fee
• Adopter finds a pet with filters (type, city, age, gender, size) and fills the adoption form (home, family, time, reason, address proof)
• Shelter starts the review and schedules a meet & greet (date and time)
• Shelter approves with a 5-point checklist; the pet row is locked and put On Hold so only one family is approved
• Adopter pays the adoption fee with Razorpay (test mode) or demo mode, or the shelter records cash
• Shelter completes the handover; the pet is marked Adopted and other applications are closed automatically
• Adopter prints an adoption certificate with QR code that anyone can verify on the website
