About this project

CropPulse is an agriculture market price portal PHP project for BCA, BSc and diploma students. Registered traders of each APMC mandi enter the daily minimum, maximum and modal price of every commodity, the admin verifies the entries, and farmers see only verified rates. The highlight is the price trend chart: compare up to three mandis for 7, 30 or 90 days with a shaded min-max band, high / low / average and the best mandi of the day.

How it works

  • Trader registers with firm, APMC licence and mandi; admin approves the account
  • Trader enters today's min, max, modal price and arrival in one rate sheet (rows saved as Pending)
  • Admin verifies rates in bulk; verified rates appear in the rate ticker, rate tables and trend charts
  • Every verified rate checks farmers' price alerts and sends a notification when the target is crossed
  • Farmer lists a crop with photo; traders of that mandi send offers with rate, quantity and pickup date
  • Farmer accepts the best offer: the deal gets a number, other offers close automatically, and a printable deal slip with QR code is created
  • Anyone can verify a deal slip number on the website; the trader marks the deal done after pickup
