CareerCanvas - Online Resume Builder

CareerCanvas – Online Resume Builder PHP project is a complete web application for students and freshers who want a clean, job-ready resume. The job seeker types details once in simple forms and the website arranges them in a neat one-page A4 resume. The same data works in 8 templates and 6 colours, so the design changes in one click. A strength score shows what is missing, a job match check compares the resume with any job post, and HR experts can review the resume for a fee.

How it works

• Job seeker registers and gets the first resume ready at once
• Fills 7 tabs (personal, summary, experience, education, skills, projects, certificates) with a live A4 preview and strength score
• Chooses one of 8 templates and 6 colours, downloads the PDF or shares a link with QR code
• Pastes a job post to see matched and missing keywords with a match %
• Asks for an expert review and pays the fee (Razorpay test mode / demo mode) with a printable receipt
• An approved expert claims the request, scores 4 parts with comments; the job seeker rates the expert
• Admin manages templates, job roles, experts, reviews with refunds, payments and reports

Frequently asked questions

Does it run on XAMPP? Yes – copy the folder to htdocs, import the SQL file in phpMyAdmin and open it in the browser. Is internet needed for the demo? No. Demo payment mode and all files are local; internet is needed only for Razorpay test payments. How is the PDF made? The resume opens on an A4 page and the browser's "Save as PDF" saves it exactly like the preview. Is it enough for 3 students? Yes – the README and explanation divide the work into three parts and three demos.
