ReadCycle - Old Book Exchange Portal PHP Project with Source Code

ReadCycle - Old Book Exchange Portal PHP project helps college students sell the textbooks of finished semesters to juniors at a fair price. Students and verified second-hand book shops list books with MRP, price, condition, course and semester. Buyers search with filters and send buy requests. The seller accepts one request, and the system reserves the book and closes all other requests automatically.

How it works

• A student or book shop lists a book. Students' books are approved by the admin; verified shops' books go live directly.
• A buyer searches by subject, course, semester, condition, price and seller type, and saves books to a wishlist.
• The buyer sends a buy request with an offer (minimum % set by the admin) and a message.
• The seller sees all requests as cards and accepts one with a meeting place and time.
• The book becomes Reserved, the other requests are rejected with a reason, and mobile numbers are shared only now.
• Both print a deal slip with deal code and QR code, then meet and pay in cash.
• The buyer clicks "Book Received" and rates the seller; the book becomes Sold, with a full status timeline.
