About this project

SwiftLab is a lab test booking system PHP project for a diagnostic / pathology lab. Patients browse blood tests and health packages, book a home sample collection or lab visit for themselves or a family member in a time slot with limited seats, and pay online (Razorpay test mode / demo) or at the time of collection. A lab technician collects the sample and enters the results, every value is flagged High, Low or Normal automatically, and the pathologist verifies and releases the report with a QR verification code.

How it works

  • Patient adds tests / packages to the basket and chooses patient, home or lab visit, date and slot (seats left shown, full slots disabled)
  • Seat is locked with a database transaction, so a slot can never be overbooked
  • Patient pays with Razorpay test mode, demo mode, or chooses pay at collection
  • Admin assigns a lab technician; the technician collects the sample (sample code + cash if unpaid)
  • Technician enters results; High / Low / Normal flags are calculated from the normal range
  • Pathologist verifies and releases the report or sends it back with a reason
  • Patient prints the A4 report with QR code; anyone can verify it on the website
