City Tourist Guide PHP Project - CityTrail with Maps, Reviews & Local Guide Booking

CityTrail is a city tourist guide PHP project built with PHP 8 and MySQL for Jaipur, Udaipur, Mumbai, Goa and Varanasi. Every place has timings, entry fee, time needed and best time to visit, a map with nearby places in km, and honest reviews from tourists. Tourists can also book a verified local guide for a morning, evening or full day tour and pay online after the guide accepts.

How it works

• Admin adds cities, categories and places with their exact latitude / longitude and picture.
• Visitors search places by city, category, rating and free entry, and open a place page.
• The place page shows an offline city pin map, a Google Map tab, Get Directions and nearby places within 5 km.
• Tourists write one review per place; the star breakdown and average rating update automatically.
• Local guides register with licence and ID proof; admin approves them before they are visible.
• Tourist books a tour -> guide accepts or declines -> tourist pays (Razorpay test / demo) -> receipt.
• Guide marks the tour completed and the tourist rates the guide.
