Most colleges still collect assignments on paper, by email or in messaging groups. Deadlines are hard to track, and a teacher cannot compare 60 answers by hand to find copies. The Assignment Submission App with Similarity Check brings the whole cycle into one Android app with a web admin panel. Students submit on time, teachers see real similarity scores, and every grade comes with a rubric and comments.

How it works

• The teacher publishes an assignment for a class with a due date, marks, a similarity threshold and a late-penalty rule
• The student writes the answer, attaches an optional PDF / DOCX / TXT file and runs a pre-submit check (word count, readability, ready score, writing tips)
• After the deadline the teacher runs the similarity check: every pair of answers is compared with TF-IDF cosine similarity on the phone
• Pairs above the threshold are flagged in a colour heat-grid matrix with the matching sentences highlighted side by side
• The teacher marks a pair as copied work or clears the flag, then grades each answer with a 4-part rubric and an AI marks suggestion
• Students get notified with their grade, comment and similarity score; teachers export an originality report as PDF

The teacher decides whether late answers are allowed; marks are reduced automatically per late day. Will it run on my laptop? Yes.
