Women Safety SOS App with Live Tracking (StriKavach) is a final year Android project where a woman can ask for help without unlocking her phone. She shakes the phone three times, presses the power button quickly or holds the SOS ring. After a short countdown the phone shares her live location and records audio, and her guardians follow her on a map. A PHP admin panel lets the administrator watch every alert.
How it works
- The woman registers and adds guardians (family and friends).
- A trigger starts a countdown with cancel; then the SOS is created on the server.
- A foreground service sends location every 10 seconds and uploads audio clips.
- Guardians see the alert, the live track, listen to the audio and reply.
- Safe Walk: if she does not reach the destination in time, the server raises an SOS automatically.
- Area safety score: Safe / Moderate / Risky for any place and hour from community reports.
- Safety assistant uses Gemini when a key is set and an offline fallback otherwise.
