TaskOrbit – Team Task Tracker PHP project helps small software teams, college project groups and training institutes plan and follow their work in one place. A project manager creates projects, adds team members, plans sprints and assigns tasks. Team members move their tasks on a Kanban board, log working hours and discuss in comments. The admin watches everything from a dashboard with charts.
How it works
- Manager creates a project with a short key (for example FOOD) and adds team members
- Manager plans a two-week sprint and starts it (only one active sprint per project)
- Manager creates tasks with priority, story points, estimated hours and due date - the task code (FOOD-101) is made automatically
- Member sees his tasks on a four-column Kanban board: To Do, In Progress, In Review, Done
- Member changes the status from the card without reloading the page, logs hours and posts comments
- Member sends finished work to In Review - only the manager approves it as Done
- Admin sees counts, a task-status donut chart and a tasks-per-project bar chart, and controls users and projects
