FestPass - College Fest Event Registration System with QR Entry Pass

FestPass is a college fest event registration system PHP project built with core PHP 8 and MySQL. It takes the complete registration work of a college fest online - events, solo and team registration, fee payment, QR entry pass, venue check-in, results and certificates - with three separate panels for students, event coordinators and the fest office.

How it works

• The admin adds events with category, coordinator, date, venue, team size, fee, seats and last date.
• Students browse events with filters and register solo or as a team (team members with validation).
• Seats and last date are checked automatically; the fee is paid with Razorpay (test mode) or demo mode.
• After payment the student gets a receipt and a printable QR entry pass (Print / Save as PDF).
• At the venue the coordinator scans the QR with a webcam or types the code and marks check-in - a pass works only once.
• After the event the coordinator declares 1st / 2nd / 3rd winners; results go live and students download certificates.

Does it work without internet? Yes. All libraries are inside the project and demo payment mode works offline. Is the Razorpay payment real? It uses Razorpay test mode, so no real money is charged. The setup guide shows how to add free test keys. Do I need a webcam? No. The pass code can also be typed; the webcam is optional. Which software is needed? Only XAMPP (Apache, MySQL, PHP 8) and a browser.
