ParcelPath - Courier Tracking System with Admin Panel

Courier tracking system PHP project - ParcelPath is a courier booking and tracking portal built in PHP 8 and MySQL. A customer books a parcel from home, sees the price at once (actual and volume weight, distance zone, GST), pays online and prints a waybill label with a QR code. Every parcel gets a tracking number like PP38204517IN, and anyone can follow it on a five-step status timeline from Booked to Delivered.

How it works

• Customer books a shipment with sender, receiver, weight and box size; the price shows live and is calculated again on the server.
• Customer pays with Razorpay (test mode) or demo mode and prints the receipt and the waybill label with QR.
• Admin assigns a pickup agent of the same city; the agent marks the parcel Picked Up.
• Admin scans the parcel at hubs (In Transit, Reached Hub) - steps cannot be skipped.
• Admin assigns a delivery agent; the agent marks Out for Delivery and a 4-digit OTP goes to the customer.
• The agent marks Delivered only with the correct OTP, or saves a Failed Attempt with a reason (max 3, then Returned).
• Every scan appears on the tracking page with date, time and place.
